Home to the games of the Titans!
2009: All review scores are calculated via three scoring categories; Gameplay, Presentation, and Story.
The gameplay score is calculated through how good the gameplay is, how closely or loosely it sticks to its genre, and other factors such as replay value.
Presentation is a concoction of how the game looks as in terms of graphical output, considering the engine and purpose of the game. Also sound effects and soundtrack will tilt the score as well.
Story scoring is calculated by how well the story is presented, the settings and characters. It also depends on set-pieces and in some cases depends on whether it is part of a series of games.
These scores are averaged by the mean score, and a total percentage is given.
1-40% = Simply Terrible!
40-50% = Not so good...
50-60% = Needs improving.
60-70% = Good enough.
70 -80% = Great.
80-90% = Fantastic.
90-100% = Absolutely Outstanding.
